The Gateway to Industry program builds strong partnerships between schools and industry, assisting member schools in providing industry-relevant learning opportunities and training for students. Industry participation also provides teachers with the skills to better support students undertaking school-based traineeships or apprenticeships.
The program equips teachers and career guidance officers with current training and career information, enabling them to support students in making well-informed decisions about their future career and training paths. It also offers various professional development opportunities for teachers to ensure their industry knowledge stays relevant and up to date.
The Gateway to schools program will open in late January 2025.

The program also creates exciting opportunities for industry and educators to work together to deliver outcomes for students, communities, and local businesses.
